Michael Godkin wins Wexford Leg
Congratulations to Michael Godkin who won the 3rd leg of the Ladbrokes Irish Poker Tour for a cool €2800. Victor Brophy was 2nd for teh same amount €2800 and they played out for the points . We were happy enough with the turnout and happy to hit the guaranteed prizepool . The final table saw some suberb play with Diane Hunt showing Ladies are as good as men in poker with a superb performance .
63 players came to the Whites Hotel for the 3rd leg of the inaugural Ladbrokes Irish Poker Tour, attracted by the tasty €10,000 Guarantee. The overall prizepool ended up at €10,350 and Neill Kelly, Operations Director with tournament organiser Big Slick Events, was hugely pleased with the great turn out and is determined to carry this momentum across the country as more venues are set to be announced over the next few weeks.
